Job Title: Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the service line required
License: License in hand required with submission
Certifications: Must be registered in Echo (ARDMS with RDCS or RCS) and Vascular (RVT or RVS) for adults. Candidates with only Vascular registry will be considered if they can perform Echo. Peds experience is a bonus.

Must-Have: Previous charge experience (1 year), experience with various echocardiography techniques, and familiarity with charting systems.

Description:
This position involves working 5x8 hour shifts with occasional weekend varied call shifts.
Candidates must be registered in Echo and Vascular for adults.
Candidates with only Vascular registry will be considered if they can perform Echo.
Pediatric experience is a plus.
The role involves performing echocardiograms on various patient demographics including adults and pediatrics.
You will be involved in emergency procedures, routine exams, and specialized echocardiographic studies.
Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams will be essential.
Candidates should have experience with 3-D echo, M-mode, pharmacologic stress echo, and portable studies.
The daily patient census is approximately 80, with around 8 visits per day.
This role may involve various special procedures and support from multiple departments.
Reliability in adhering to safety protocols and familiarity with isolation precautions is essential.
The facility conducts its own drug screening upon arrival, which is mandatory.
Candidates should avoid substances that could lead to positive test results during this process.
Candidates must be available to complete necessary lab items promptly after accepting the offer.
Charting experience with Altera is preferred but not required.
