Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA): Inpatient Pulmonary, Per Diem

Cleveland Clinic Martin Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our inpatient Pulmonary team. The APP will provide high-quality, evidence-based inpatient care in collaboration with hospitalists, specialists, surgeons, nursing staff, pharmacists, and other members of the healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments, formulate diagnoses, and develop treatment plans for acute and chronically ill adult patients with Pulmonary Disease
• Manage the day-to-day care of hospitalized patients including admissions, rounding, consults, and discharges.
• Monitor patient responses to pulmonary therapy.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and initiate appropriate therapies.
• Document patient care clearly and efficiently in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, patients, and families regarding patient status, treatment plans, and goals of care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, quality improvement initiatives, and educational activities.
• Patient and family education.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage time effectively and respond to emergencies in a calm, competent manner

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in inpatient/hospital medicine with ID preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical backgrounds will be considered.
• Excellent clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Schedule:

• Per Diem, Day Shift, 8 hr days
• 7a-3pm or 8a-4pm
