Skills: Payroll Processing-Expert, HRIS Workday-Intermediate, ADP Systems-Intermediate, Data Accuracy-Expert, Customer Support-Advanced Contract: W2 Location: San Diego, CA (#LI-Hybrid) Duration: 15 months Pay Range:$25-$30 Per Hour Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist to handle the end-to-end payroll processing for over 15,000 employees on a bi-weekly basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring payroll accuracy through meticulous auditing, managing leave of absence calculations, and providing Tier 2 support for payroll-related queries. This role requires a high level of confidentiality, excellent judgment, and the capacity to work effectively in a dynamic work environment. Job Requirements Process full payroll cycles for exempt and non-exempt employees, ensuring accurate calculations and compliance with pay policies. Audit HRIS Workday daily file feeds into ADP and manage payroll discrepancies, stop payments, and direct deposit reversals efficiently. Track and process leave of absence (LOA), ensuring supplemental pay calculations are accurate. Handle over-payment calculations and collections, and maintain up-to-date SOPs for payroll and timekeeping tasks. Provide high-level customer service, responding to complex inquiries from employees, managers, and external vendors while working collaboratively in a team environment. Must Have Skills Experience with HRIS Workday and ADP Systems. Strong data accuracy and auditing skills. Excellent communication and customer support capabilities Industry Experience Experience in a shared services environment is preferred. Education/Certifications A college degree is preferred, and CPP/FPC certification is a plus.
