The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist in various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment following strict infection control protocols. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care. Support the front office with basic receptionist duties when required. Ensure the treatment area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies. Collaborate with the dental team to provide exceptional patient care. Requirements Knowledge of infection control procedures in a dental setting. Familiarity with general dentistry practices and terminology. Understanding of human anatomy as it relates to dental health. Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus. Background in pediatric dentistry is desirable but not mandatory. Proficiency in assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques. Knowledge of prosthodontics and medical imaging processes is beneficial. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
