Travel Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Location: Dallas, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7 PM to 7 AM, with weekend work every other week.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room care. In this role, you will provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an ER setting, utilizing your expertise to manage acute medical situations effectively.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and care to patients in the emergency room.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when necessary.
Participate in patient and family education regarding health care needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room setting.
Active RN license in the state of Texas (temporary licenses not accepted).
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
Experience with Meditech is preferred.
