Job Description JOB SUMMARY The Senior Supervisor will assist the Management team with providing overall supervision of the day-to-day operations of various building service contracts held by Wildcat and Fedcap Rehabilitation Services. The Senior Supervisor will supervise janitorial supervisors and cleaning crews assigned to various locations. The Supervisor will assist the Operations Manager in overseeing the cleaning operations for janitorial contracts, throughout the metropolitan area, which includes various locations, day, night, and weekend shifts, all depending on operational needs. Supervisory Responsibility This position manages staff and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that department. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with workers, supervisors, and management. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds if they are demonstrating machinery, performing training techniques, or covering at a site. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are non-typically Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, but will be determined by the operational needs of management as required by the sites. There will be evening, and weekend work required as job duties demand.

- Facilitates training for supervisors, lead workers, and cleaning crews; interacts with customer base to
address janitorial concerns/ issues or additional requests for detailed cleaning and floor care jobs. - Provide weekly inspection and operation reports.
- Conducts follow-up meetings and reports on all service requests and issues.
- Identifies and communicates opportunities for additional cleaning services to the Operations Managers and the Director of Facilities Management.
- Manage staff schedules and cover shifts at various site locations as needed.
- Provide shift coverage as needed, including but not limited to personally, covering shift(s), changes in work location or shift to accommodate last-minute emergencies, coverage of sites, and/or any other Facilities Management operational needs.

- Providing orientation to new workers and supervisors.
- Associate degree, or vocational/technical training required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Must have a valid Driver's license and a good driving record.
- Three (3) years of extensive knowledge and experience in the provision of custodial services to public and private organizations.
- Must have at least four (4) years' experience in a supervisory capacity, and demonstrate good leadership qualities, or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
- Must have the ability to handle employee relations issues.
- Technical knowledge of equipment, materials, practices, and methods with respect to office cleaning.
- Knowledge of the Organization's mission, vision, and goals, and execution of policies and procedures.
- Must have excellent communication skills (writing and verbal) and the ability to communicate effectively with employees and customers.
- Must have a basic understanding of cost control and budgets.
- Must be able to prepare reports, job descriptions, job tasks, and other vital reports in Excel and Word.
- Must be able to supervise, train, and direct multiple employees.
- Must have janitorial technical skills, including stripping and waxing floors, carpet extracting, team cleaning, scrubbing and recoating, bathroom cleaning, and specialty services.
- Must be flexible and/or able to cover or work during any shift, weekday, weeknight/overnight, and/or weekend shifts with limited notice.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel.
