Director of Spa and Wellness

Luxury Hotel • Montauk • USD $150,000 - $165,000 per year ABOUT THE ROLE We are searching for a Director of Spa and Wellness for a premier luxury hotel in Montauk. Reporting to the General Manager, this is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all spa and wellness operations, developing wellness initiatives, driving revenue, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate brings a genuine passion for wellness, a strong background in luxury spa management, and proven leadership skills. WHAT YOU'LL DO Oversee the full daily operation of the spa, including all spa services, wellness programmes, and aquatic facilities Develop and implement strategies to enhance the guest experience, drive revenue, and grow the profitability of the spa and retail operations Lead, inspire, and develop a team of therapists, estheticians, retail attendants, and support staff to maintain high service standards Collaborate with the marketing team to promote spa services, wellness retreats, and special events Manage scheduling, training, and ongoing development of the spa and retail team Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships for spa products and treatment lines, negotiating favorable terms Analyze financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, to meet business objectives Stay current with wellness, beauty, and spa trends, introducing new services and products where appropriate Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations across all spa areas Collaborate with engineering to address and resolve maintenance issues promptly within the spa WHAT YOU BRING Minimum 5 years of spa and wellness management experience, including at least 2 years in a senior leadership role within a luxury setting Strong understanding of spa services, wellness trends, and retail management, including merchandising and inventory Proven financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue management Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Knowledge of spa facilities including pool, fitness, thermal, and aquatic environments Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and evenings as required WHAT'S OFFERED USD $150,000 - $165,000 per year Comprehensive and competitive benefits package #J-18808-Ljbffr
