Contract - Registered Nurse - Telemetry - 13 Weeks Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule: Shift hours are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with weekend coverage required every other weekend. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our telemetry unit, providing specialized care to surgical oncology patients. The unit features a total of 34 beds and utilizes advanced telemetry monitoring equipment, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care. Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy and provide medical care to patients. Conduct cardiac telemetry monitoring and respond to patient needs. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement patient care plans. Educate patients and families about treatment plans and procedures. Maintain accurate patient records in the electronic medical record system (MediTech). Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Medical/Surgical experience required. Chemotherapy certification preferred. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
