About the Role
As a Behavior Technician or RBT, you will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children in a structured setting. You will help children build communication, social, and daily living skills while working toward meaningful individualized goals.
Responsibilities include:
- Implementing individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision
- Providing engaging, child-centered one-on-one ABA therapy
- Collecting accurate electronic session data
- Collaborating with BCBAs and fellow team members throughout the day
- Supporting a positive, safe, and structured learning environment for clients
Our Huntersville location will integrate farm-based and outdoor learning into ABA therapy, creating meaningful and engaging experiences for both kids and staff.
Your day may include:
- Outdoor learning and movement-based activities
- Animal interaction and care routines
- Gardening and hands-on life skills
- Group learning and social skill development
- Nature-based sensory experiences
- Play-based therapy across multiple environments
This is ABA designed to be engaging, dynamic, and meaningful.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Interest in working with children and learning ABA therapy
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative team mindset
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass required screenings
- Ability to stay active throughout the day, including sitting, standing, walking, and running as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
