Our cybersecurity team is seeking a Senior Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support operations 100 % onsite at our Tewksbury, Massachusetts facility. Responsibilities Assess and monitor system compliance, audit security plans, and deliver information systems security education and awareness. Investigate information system security violations and prepare reports on corrective and preventative actions. Review and approve configuration‑management requests within authority. Conduct technical and administrative assessments. Integrate new cybersecurity processes, procedures, and tools. Support creation, review, and update of cybersecurity documentation and other technical writing. Important Note Within six months of hire date, obtain and maintain a security‑professional certification commensurate with IAM Level I (e.g., Security+). Qualifications You Must Have Typical requirement: University degree or equivalent experience plus minimum 5 years of relevant experience; or an advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Relevant experience may be considered in any combination: Cybersecurity, systems security, or hardening. Information technology. Compliance‑based auditing using RMF, DAAPM, JSIG, NISPOM, or non‑defense regulations such as FAA, PCI, ISO 9001, or HIPAA. Experience with computer technologies (databases, operating systems, network hardware, software, troubleshooting, electronics). Physical security, policework, investigations, or Border Patrol. Project, program, office, senior administration, or account management. Qualifications We Prefer Experience working in DoD classified operating and/or laboratory environments. Experience with vulnerability‑analysis tools such as Splunk, Forcepoint, Ivanti, Tenable, ACAS, HBSS, etc. Familiarity with implementation of government directives and policies derived from NIST, CNSSI, DoD, or other regulatory standards. Experience executing the Assessment & Authorization processes defined within RMF. Technical security consultation for complex, cross‑domain, heterogeneous classified networked environments. Familiarity with large multi‑facility networks including Windows and Linux environments. Experience interpreting, implementing, and assessing DISA STIGs. Familiarity with cyber‑incident response (preservation, containment, eradication). Benefits & Compensation The salary range for this role is USD 86,800 – 165,200.
