Job Summary:
An MRI Technologist position located in McKinney, Texas. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves performing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures in accordance with established protocols to assist in the diagnosis of disease and injury. The technician will work primarily during night shifts, from Sunday through Wednesday, 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM.

Job Details:

• Certifications: BLS, ARRT (MR) with at least 1 year of experience.
• Location: McKinney, Texas
• Schedule: Night shifts, Sunday-Wednesday, 7:00 PM - 5:30 AM, with a minimum of 40 hours per week
• Experience: 0 years of experience required (additional preferred qualifications not specified)
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Performs high-quality MRI procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner
  • Maintains production and quality of imaging procedures following established standards and protocols
  • Utilizes patient communication techniques to identify requirements, ensure correct exam, and establish rapport
  • Prepares patients and area for procedures, positioning patients, adjusting equipment, and setting exposure factors
  • Ensures safety by adhering to infection-control, drug, and radiation policies, protocols, and techniques
  • Maintains equipment and work area standards, reports issues, and assists with inventory
  • Screens individuals for safety, verifies relevant documentation, and maintains medical imaging records
  • Demonstrates the ability to perform tasks independently and maintain a calm attitude under stress
  • Provides excellent customer service and participates in training and call duties as required
