Neuro ICU Registered Nurse - $32-48 per hour

Job Title Neuro ICU Registered Nurse - Nights (RN) Position Highlights 3 (12) hr night shifts 7p to 7a Weekend requirement every 3rd weekend Flexible scheduling Benefit eligible first day of month after start 401(k) with match BSN preferred ICU experience preferred Role Purpose Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care. Responsibilities Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and their families on how to manage their illness or injury, including post‑treatment home‑care needs and medication administration. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Participates in professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient, family or caregiver in accordance with established guidelines and standards of nursing care. Proactively plans and ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum of care. Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care. Assesses patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including their values, emotional, spiritual, cultural and population‑specific needs. Minimum Requirements Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing. License: RN. Experience: No experience required; alternative experience may be considered. Supervisor Experience: None required. Preferred Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Experience: Less than 2 years in Neuro ICU or related setting.
