Licensed Physical Therapy Asst

UnitedHealth Group - - Responsibilities: Follow state laws governing provision of physical therapy in home care and the defined plan of care by the supervising PT; Instructs and aids patients in active and passive exercise, gait, functional activities of daily living, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training; Observes, records, and reports to the supervising PT, nurse, and/or physician the patient's response to treatment and changes in condition; Coordinates care with other members of the healthcare team as appropriate; Educates patient, family, caregiver, and other health-care team members in areas of therapy within the PTA scope
