A growing Twin Cities law firm is seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join its team. This is a highly hands-on role supporting attorneys across a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and related proceedings.

This opportunity is ideal for a paralegal who wants to take ownership of their work, play an active role in case strategy and trial preparation, and serve as a key point of contact for clients throughout the lifecycle of a matter.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing consistent communication and support throughout their cases
• Draft and prepare motions, pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research and assist with case strategy development
• Support attorneys through all phases of litigation and trial preparation, including exhibit organization and witness coordination
• Manage case files, calendars, and deadlines with a high level of accuracy and organization
• Handle e-filing and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures
• Compile, review, and summarize discovery and case-related materials
• Independently manage family law cases under attorney supervision

• 3+ years of paralegal or legal assistant experience, with a strong focus on family law
• Demonstrated experience drafting legal documents and managing active caseloads
• Familiarity with Minnesota court procedures and e-filing systems
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with clients in sensitive situations
• Proficiency with legal software and case management systems
