Transportation Specialist/Driver

The Transportation Specialist/Driver at Kirksville Motor Company is responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles to designated locations. This job is located in Kirksville, Missouri. Responsibilities include:

• Safely and efficiently transport vehicles to designated locations as per schedule
• Inspect vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition before transportation
• Complete vehicle transportation paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of transportation equipment and tools
• Communicate with customers and other team members as needed to provide updates on transportation schedules and vehicle status
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies and procedures
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on transportation equipment as needed
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements include:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must own a smart phone
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Submit to background check and MVR
• Knowledge of vehicle transportation regulations and safety procedures
• Ability to operate transportation equipment (e.g. trailers, flatbeds) and basic tools
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
