Qualifications

• State License Compact licenses are allowed. License must be in hand at time of application.
• Certifications BLS (AHA). Willing to obtain allowed for BLS (AHA).
• Certifications CPI
• Certifications NRP (AAP)
• Specialty Experience 1+ years of experience in Wound Care in last 3 years.
• Skills Assessment WOC skills assessment with 2.7+ score.
• References 1 Supervisor reference within the last 2 years. 1 Charge RN reference within the last 2 years.
• Additional Confirmations I am willing to float.
• Additional Confirmations I have not worked as a permanent employee or traveler of this health system in the past year.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with alginates, autolytic and enzymatic debriding agents, foams, growth factors, hydrocolloids, and hydrogels is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with mechanical debridement, silver products, skin substitutes, and wet to damp dressing changes is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with colostomy/ileostomy management and care, including double barrel, end, loop with rod, and mucous fistulas is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with ileal lavage and ostomy equipment selection is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in the assessment and management of neuropathic, peripheral arterial, pressure, and venous ulcers is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with alteration in skin and mucous membranes, cellulitis, edema, melanoma, and necrotic debris is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with pressure ulcers (Stages I-IV), including tunneling and undermining is required.
• Additional Confirmations Proficiency in Braden scale assessment, prevention risk assessment tools for adult and pediatric patients, infection control, isolation precautions, and PPE is required.
• Additional Confirmations Experience with continence skin care management, female/male external catheters, G-tube/J-tube feeding and site care, and patient/family teaching in a hospital setting is required.
• Flu Vaccine (Current Season) Must be for the current flu season. Medical and religious declinations are accepted. Willing to obtain allowed.
• Travel Contract Local contracts within 50.0 miles not accepted.
• Requested Time Off Up to 7 days of time off can be requested.
