Physical Therapy Assistant The Physical Therapy Assistant provides supportive therapeutic care to patients under the supervision of licensed physical therapists. They assist in implementing treatment plans to help patients regain mobility and strength. Responsibilities: Assist in executing treatment plans prescribed by licensed physical therapists. Monitor and report patient progress during therapy sessions. Set up and maintain treatment equipment and therapy areas. Educate patients on exercises and stretches to support recovery. Document patient responses and therapy activities accurately. Adhere to safety and infection control protocols. Qualifications: Hold an active and valid PTA license or certification. Possess relevant clinical experience in physical therapy assisting. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Understand and follow treatment procedures and safety practices.
