Pay: $20.00 - $45.00 per hour

Job description:

We are looking for a Busser/Runner to support our wait staff and set up our dining areas. Responsibilities include but are not limited to setting tables, aid wait staff in bringing out food & drinks to table, adhering to sanitation and safety policies, clearing and cleaning tables, chairs, and environment.

Ultimately, you will ensure our daily operations run smoothly and our guests have a pleasant dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare dining space for patrons by cleaning and setting tables.

• Refill server stations including: condiments, utensils, napkins, and service plates.

• Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.

• Maintain table setting by removing courses as completed; replenishing utensils; refilling water glasses; being alert to patron spills or other special needs.

• Support wait staff by setting-up and replenishing salad stations, trash containers liners, and bus stations.

• Work with front of house and back of house staff to go through daily cleaning checklist. Tasks may include: cleaning chairs and tables, sweeping and/or mopping floors; removing trash and recyclables from the facility.

• Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.

Requirements:

• Work experience as a Busser, Food Runner or other entry-level role in a restaurant is a plus.

• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays.

• Understanding of hygiene and food safety rules.

• Physical ability and stamina to carry heavy trays and stand for long hours.

• Ability to multitask and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude.

• Responsible, trustworthy and shows accountability.

• Ability to support and participate in a team-oriented environment.

• Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
