More about our team Our adult inpatient Behavioral Health Unit provides 24-hour psychiatric treatment and clinical support in a safe, therapeutic environment where nurses have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients experiencing mental health crises and behavioral health challenges. As part of our specialized 19-bed inpatient Behavioral Health program, you'll collaborate closely with psychiatrists, therapists, physicians, and experienced behavioral health professionals who are committed to helping patients achieve recovery, stability, and improved wellness. How You'll Contribute Essential Functions Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by an RN. Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care; may administer medication. Documents patient care provided. Assists RN with development of plan of care. Assists patients with daily living activities including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Monitors, documents, and communicates patient status and responses to interventions with RN, physician, patient, and family. Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Participates in performance improvement and continuing education. Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed. Maintains regular and reliable attendance. What we're looking for: Applicants should have a current Arizona or compact state LPN/LVN license and have completed an accredited LPN nursing program. Additional requirements include: LPN required. Must have an active Arizona or Compact LPN/LVN License. BCLS required. Handle with Care certification is preferred.
