You should have access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery. You must possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and be able to navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings. Progression can lead from driver to management, general manager, and franchisee. General Job Duties for All Store Team Members Operate all equipment. Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler. Prepare product. Receive and process telephone orders. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility approximately daily. Communication Skills Comprehend and give written instructions correctly. Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person. Essential Functions/Skills Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator may be used). Make correct monetary change. Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately perform precise movements with speed. Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Work Conditions Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions during outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in cooler to 90°F and above in some work areas. Sudden temperature changes both inside and outdoors. Fumes from food odors. Exposure to cornmeal dust. Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler. Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher. Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts. Temperaments Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical Requirements Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking: Short distances for short durations; surfaces include ceramic tile or linoleum. Work surfaces height between 36" and 48". Paperwork: Normally completed in an office at a desk or table. Lifting: Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded using a hand truck. Deliveries can include cases weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions up to 3' x 1.5'. Cases are lifted from floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72" high. Carrying: Large cans (~3 lbs), pizza sauce (~30 lbs), trays of pizza dough (12 lbs each, carried three at a time). Pushing: Trays on dollies (24–30") require force up to 7.5 pounds to push; trays may also be pulled. Climbing: Infrequently navigate stairs or climb ladder to perform maintenance. Stooping/Bending: Forward bending at waist necessary at pizza assembly station; duration 30–45 seconds at a time, repeated throughout day. Crouching/Squatting: Occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas. Reaching: Continuously up, down, and forward; occasionally above 72" to operate oven controls, change sign prices, lift/lower objects, scoop cornmeal, wash dishes; forward when obtaining toppings, cleaning, answering phones. Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids Team members may be required to use pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel. Driving Specific Job Duties Deliver product by car and then to customer door. Deliver flyers and door hangers. Requirements Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards. Access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery. Essential Skills Navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product. Physical Demands Carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing. Deliver pizzas within designated delivery area; may make several deliveries per shift.
