About the Position

Job Title: RN Medical/Surgical PM Profession: RN Specialty: Medical/Surgical PM Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 2 years of RN experience in Med Surg, telemetry, or PCU - EPIC EMR/charting experience - At least 1 year of travel nursing experience - 1 year of experience in a level 1 adult trauma designated hospital or equivalent within the last 5 years - Experience with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4-6 Description: The Medical/Surgical unit assignment will be based on experience and applicability. The position requires working 36 hours per week with three 12-hour shifts. Every other weekend work is expected. Floating to other equivalent units may be necessary as needed. Typical nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:5-6. The populations served include Medicine, Surgery, Cardiac, and Client.
