Cardiac Device RN - Outpatient Clinic

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Device RN to join our outpatient clinic focused on caring for patients with implanted cardiac monitors. This role involves performing independent technical management of implanted cardiac rhythm management devices, including pacemakers and implantable defibrillators. You will work with adult patients ranging from 18 years and older, ensuring they receive the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor implanted cardiac rhythm management devices
• Provide education to patients about their devices and care
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
• Document patient interactions and care provided in EMR

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license
• BLS certification
• Completion of a pacemaker/ICD Technician program or equivalent experience
• EPIC experience within the last 2 years
• Knowledge of cardiac rhythm management and cardiovascular physiology
