Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for night shift coverage, requiring ARRT CT certification and active WA Radiological Technologist licensure.

Details

• CT Tech role within the Radiology/Cardiology department
• Serves ED patients and inpatients, with no scheduled outpatients during this shift
• Tech works independently after midnight
• 3x12 hour night shifts, weekends Friday-Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Uses GE and Siemens equipment along with PACS
• May be required to float within the hospital based on patient care needs

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of CT Tech experience required
• ARRT CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Active WA Radiological Technologist license required if applicable
• EPIC charting experience required
• Skilled in image display and post-processing including 3D rendering techniques (MIP, surface shaded displays, volume rendering)
• Experience with abdomen/pelvis, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and chest CT imaging with and without contrast
• Experience with vascular chest imaging including CTA and pulmonary embolism studies
• Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, and peripheral IV starts
• Experience in Emergency Department, ICU, Level I, and Level II Trauma settings preferred

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered if they have at least 1 year of hospital-based experience
• Maximum of 5 days RTO permitted per assignment, must be disclosed at time of submission
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as non-local travelers
• Travel pairs accepted
• Former staff must be separated from the facility/system for at least 1 year before being eligible for rehire as a travelers
• Required orientation modules are completed and signed off by facility managers
