The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall installation, taping, and finishing, ensuring high-quality results that meet industry standards. This role requires a strong understanding of various construction techniques and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently. Responsibilities Install drywall sheets on walls and ceilings, ensuring proper alignment and secure fastening and mudding Apply joint tape and compound to seams, corners, and screw holes for a smooth finish. Sand and finish drywall surfaces to prepare for painting or other finishes. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and painters, to ensure project timelines are met. Perform minor repairs on existing drywall as needed. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Experience The successful candidate will possess experience in the following areas: Trim carpentry Carpenter skills Construction plumbing Masonry techniques Construction painting Door hanging expertise Fixture installation Metal stud framing Candidates with a diverse skill set in construction-related tasks will be highly regarded.
