Manufacturing Associate (Glass)

Position: Manufacturing Associate (Glass Cutter) Location: 2160 W 1700 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84104 Department: Manufacturing/Production Operations Wage: Starting at $19.50 to $21.50 (Depending on Experience) with 90 Day Evaluation & Pay Rate Change Job Type: Full-time Pay: $16.00-$17.00 per hour Overview Glaz-Tech is looking for an experienced Glass Fabricator who will be cutting glass. We are looking for a responsible, adaptable and self-driven individual looking to grow in the manufacturing industry. The job functions include cutting, fabricating, handling, and assembling glass panes that will be produced into dual pane windows, shower doors, table tops, mirrors, etc. The glass cutter/fabricator will use a variety of tools, machinery, and protective gear to ensure product is produced safely and to the highest quality. Reading production tags to correctly assemble dual pane windows. Organizing window panes onto transportation or storage racks. Loading completed product onto glass trucks for delivery. Requirements Ability to safely lift 50-75 pounds Must be able to read a tape measure down to 1/8" Ability to physically stand for 8 hours per day. Ability to complete simple computer task.
