Maintenance Team Leader Oshkosh AeroTech provides aviation ground support products, gate equipment, and airport services to commercial airlines, airports, air‑freight carriers, and military customers. Job Overview Responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, scheduling, safety management, productivity, and material coordination. Provides hands‑on guidance and training to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction while promoting a strong safety culture. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily maintenance operations, including scheduling, work orders, safety, and materials. Provide direct hands‑on support, guidance, and on‑the‑job training to team members. Foster strong working relationships to enhance team and customer satisfaction. Promote a culture of safety by leading new‑employee safety training and conducting quality‑control inspections. Support Operational Managers in monitoring and improving operational performance. Develop and maintain processes and documentation to enhance operational efficiency. Compensation & Schedule Pay range: $29–$34 per hour. Sign‑on bonus: $2,500 after 90 days. Shift schedule: SUN–WED or WED–SAT, 12‑hour shift schedule with one 6‑hour shift. Availability for on‑call work, including occasional evenings and weekends. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Valid Driver’s License. 3 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance technician work. Ability to obtain required security clearance. Availability for on‑call work, including occasional evenings and weekends. Ability to work rotational shifts. Preferred Qualifications Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years’ experience in Airport Maintenance services. Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Physical Demands Regular standing, sitting, walking, and use of hands to handle or feel. Reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Climb or balance in small spaces. Ladder work required. Regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds. Work in outside weather conditions on an airport ramp near aircraft, vehicles, and jet aircraft. Required vision includes good close proximity, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment. Good hand‑eye coordination. Work Environment The primary work environment is similar to an office, but supervisors must conduct business in outside weather conditions, near moving machinery parts, on an active airport ramp, near vehicles, and jet aircraft.
