There’s no one like you and that’s why there’s nowhere like RSM.RSM US LLP is looking for a dynamic Pre-Sales Engineer (PSE) Director that will have a primary focus on facilitating the growth of our consulting practice.The Data Analytics/AI Pre-Sales Engineer (PSE) Director supports sales productivity and deal flow by securing the “technical close” in complex Data Analytics/AI related solutions. Data Analytics/AI services include a variety of solutions including but not limited to Microsoft Fabric, Co-Pilot, Snowflake, Databricks, to name a few. The PSE Director collaborates with sales and delivery resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers. The PSE Director is responsible for achieving a productivity quota made up of the combined expectations of the sales resources, market, industry, and/or channel supported. The sales territory will encompass pursuits across the nation, and flexible work or partial work from home is acceptable, if preferred.Responsibilities: Works deals assigned to the sales team supported, prioritizing effort based on maximizing total impact on team productivity, or as directed by Practice Leaders or Sales Director Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support Coordinates closely with internal sales and delivery resources to align solution design with customers’ business requirements Secures from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal’s “technical close.” Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines, market areas, channel, or teams supported Provides coaching and professional development to team member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge, technical acumen, and technical sales skills Opportunistically pursues additional business development opportunities within clients. Collaborates with sales to ensure these opportunities are effectively covered and advanced Maintain strong relationships with channel team, partner technology specialists, and partner sales executives Keep up with product announcements and sales incentives and programs.
