Software Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain software systems using AI.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to understand the healthcare domain and iterate on projects.
• Participate in code reviews and problem-solving sessions with senior engineers and team leads.
• Take ownership of meaningful engineering projects that impact members finding doctors and managing medical claims.
• Deliver a capstone project presentation to engineering leaders and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field, with expected graduation in Fall 2027–Spring 2028.
• Have solid computer science fundamentals and exposure to front-end technologies such as JavaScript and React or back-end technologies such as Python and Node.js.
• Familiarity with databases or cloud platforms such as AWS and Docker is a plus.
• Exposure to or interest in AI coding agents, including Claude Code, is a plus.
• Demonstrate problem-solving, ownership, communication, adaptability, and interest in meaningful real-world impact.
• The company cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
