Position Summary

Quality Assured Staffing LLC is seeking qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide professional nursing services at a facility in Baltimore, MD.

RNs will provide safe, effective, and professional nursing care to patients/residents in accordance with individual care plans, facility policies, the Maryland Nurse Practice Act, applicable COMAR requirements, and other applicable federal and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and appropriate nursing care to assigned patients/residents.
• Assess patient/resident needs and health status.
• Develop and follow appropriate nursing interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with applicable policies and regulations.
• Monitor and document patient/resident condition, nursing observations, interventions, and outcomes.
• Follow individual patient care plans.
• Obtain and document vital signs and other clinical information as required.
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Communicate effectively with facility nurses, physicians, supervisors, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Follow infection-control and standard-precaution procedures.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
• Assist with crisis response and behavior-management procedures when applicable.
• Maintain professional conduct and a clean, appropriate appearance.
• Complete required facility orientation and training.
• Perform other nursing duties within the scope of licensure and assignment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted Maryland RN license or eligible compact-state RN license.
• Minimum one (1) year of clinical experience as an RN.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Current driver's license.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening.
• Ability to successfully complete required medical examination, TB screening, drug screening, and employee-health requirements.
• Required immunization documentation.
• Ability to complete facility-specific orientation and competency training.

Schedule

Assignments are based on facility staffing needs. Available assignments may include 8-hour or 12-hour shifts , including day, evening, and overnight schedules. Actual schedules are determined by the assigned facility.
