Responsibilities Assist individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity. Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance quality of life. Implement individualized care plans and monitor client progress. Facilitate community engagement and social activities. Maintain a safe and supportive environment for all clients. Document daily activities and report any changes in client behavior. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members. Participate in training and professional development opportunities. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred. Experience in direct support or caregiving roles is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Compassionate demeanor and a genuine desire to help others. Understanding of person-centered care principles. Must pass background checks and obtain necessary licenses. CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain.
