Travel Registered Nurse – ICU Float Pool

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an intensive care unit (ICU) setting as part of a float pool
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with care plans and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to float across ICU units as needed
• Availability to work night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or critical care environment
• Experience working in a float pool or multi-unit ICU capacity
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems used in acute care settings
