About the Position

Hi,

We are actively hiring an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for one of our clients, a leading academic medical center in Farmington, CT. This role involves supporting advanced interventional and special radiographic procedures in a fast-paced hospital environment.

You will work closely with physicians, radiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams while assisting with complex vascular and interventional procedures.

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: Farmington, CT 06030
Duration: 13 Weeks (extensions of 16, 20, or 26 weeks may be considered)
Shift: 10hr Days – Rotating Start Times (7:00 AM, 7:30 AM, or 8:00 AM)
Pay Range: Weekly ($2,900 – $3,400)

Responsibilities

• Assist with interventional and special radiographic procedures
• Support vascular and cardiac interventional cases in a hybrid IR environment
• Operate radiographic imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Ensure radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety compliance
• Maintain accurate procedure documentation and patient records
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care

• Rotating weekends, holidays, and on-call coverage required

Pay Rate: Negotiable based on experience and candidate location

Requirements

• ARRT (R) Certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures experience required
• Hybrid Interventional Radiology experience preferred
• Cardiac or Vascular Interventional ARRT registry preferred or registry eligible
• Connecticut Radiography License required prior to start
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS Certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic procedures required
