Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM

Assignment Length: Approximately 34 months

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Temp / Payroll Assistant to support our Payroll Technicians with day-to-day payroll and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle confidential payroll information with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify invoices and prepare checks for payment.
• Respond to inquiries from employees and outside agencies regarding payroll and related matters.
• Prepare biweekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, schedules, and other information related to benefits and payroll.
• Complete wage verifications and various surveys for government agencies.
• Maintain accurate and organized payroll records and documentation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, or administrative experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and ability to maintain a MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM schedule.
