Position

Full‑time Neurologist – Riverside Neurology Specialists, Smithfield, Virginia

Responsibilities

• This position is primarily outpatient and includes some inpatient coverage responsibilities.
• Provide neurologic care for patients across the Comprehensive Neuroscience Program, serving regions including Williamsburg, Middle Peninsula, Peninsula, Eastern Shore, and Smithfield.
• Collaborate with board‑certified neurologists and other specialists in a multi‑specialty environment.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools such as EMG, EEG and sleep studies to assist in diagnosis.
• Participate in telemedicine for acute stroke alerts and other technology‑supported services.
• Be involved in patient‑driven care models that promote patient involvement and ownership of care.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Neurology.
• Licensed to practice medicine in Virginia (or eligible to obtain a license).
• Valid DEA registration.
