Hours: 6am to 2:30pm M-FEssential Functions & ResponsibilitiesProduce product as described in the shop orderSet proper die clearanceSelect proper punch gradeSelect and apply proper lubricationDetect when a tool needs to be servicedRead shop order and set up a tool accordinglySelect and set proper feed roll pressure (MP)Determine and set slide and stripper settingsPerform routine maintenance on machineSharpen and service tooling as required (TP)Pull inventory and record usageQualificationsThe individual who functions in this position must be able to carry out all of the functions associated with being a Press Operator. To qualify, an individual must be able to set up and operate CNC Machines and presses with minimal or no supervision.Qualifications RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent Ability to pass a basic math skills assessment Ability to read a ruler, set calipers, read blue prints and micrometer 1 year of mechanical experience Ability to assemble from blue prints, sketches, and instructions Basic math and reading skills
