Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Ortho Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour; Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required License: Active RN license required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: Must have predominant experience with orthopedic skill sets. Experience with procedures including Lap chole, Lap appy, Ex lap, I&D, Bariatric, Colorectal, PEG & Trach, DaVinci cases is required. DaVinci experience is highly preferred. Oncology, Ortho, and Neuro experience is highly preferred. Description: Looking for a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room specializing in orthopedics. The position involves predominantly day shifts with potential night shift rotations. Off-shifting may occur 1-3 times a week every 4-week scheduling period, though there are instances with no off-shifting. Weeknight call requirements average 1-2 nights per week, and weekend call requirements are approximately every 4-5 weeks. This position will include a variety of cases requiring a wide range of orthopedic skills. Candidates must be nicotine-free. Travelers need to be aware that they are not paid the same as core staff members and can only be compensated for call-backs if they are on-call offsite and called back after their shift ends. Clarity in scheduling and adherence to requirements will be essential for this role. Candidates should be committed to providing exceptional care while handling a diverse set of cases in a fast-paced environment.
