Rick Hamm Construction, Inc. is an established concrete and masonry subcontractor serving Southern California since 1977. We are seeking an experienced Concrete Form Setter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and capable of performing concrete formwork efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The Construction Form Setter plays a crucial role in our construction projects. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Directing and performing final sub-grade preparation and form construction for concrete placement.
- Removing forms, directing operators, loading and unloading equipment, tools and materials.
- General duties as required to satisfy the overall purpose of the job
What We're Looking For
- Ability to layout per plans and specifications.
- Proficient in installing forms for walls, curbs, gutters, flatwork and erecting scaffolding in a safe manner.
- Capability to read elevations and set forms to the desired elevation.
- A keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic
- Mid-Level Experience (4 - 7 years)

- Restricted and repetitive movement
- Dirty environment and extreme temperatures
- Heavy lifting or carrying
- Continuous bending and kneeling
- Standing for long periods
- Exposure to extreme noise
- Key Results: Zero incidents of safety violations, Conduct weekly safety audits.
