Allied Digestive Health is seeking an experienced Lab Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a high-volume Gastroenterology (GI) laboratory . This role is critical to ensuring efficient clinical operations, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional patient and provider experience. The ideal candidate is a strong people leader with operational expertise, data-driven decision-making skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and Share Point \n

\nWe are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full time, Anatomic Pathology/Histology Lab Manager at ADH Pathology in West Long Branch, NJ. This is a salaried role and comes with a 10% yearly bonus. \n
\n
Key Responsibilities \n
\n

\n
• Manage daily operations of a high-volume GI laboratory, ensuring efficient patient flow and optimal room utilization
\n
• Lead, train, and supervise laboratory and support staff; manage schedules, coverage, and performance
\n
• Partner closely with physicians, nursing, anesthesia, pathology, and administrative teams
\n
• Ensure compliance with CAP , CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, and Allied Digestive Health policies
\n
• Prepare and Pass regulatory inspection by CAP and CLIA .
\n
• Monitor quality metrics, productivity, and operational performance
\n
• Use SharePoint, Power BI and/or Excel to track volumes, staffing, and performance data; prepare reports and presentations.
\n
• Develop and maintain SOPs, workflows, and quality improvement initiatives
\n
• Support budget management, inventory control, and vendor coordination
\n
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and patient-centered care
\n

Qualifications \n
\n

\n
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Laboratory Science, Biology, Life Science or related field.
\n
• 2+ years of experience in a high-volume Lab
\n
• Proven experience managing staff and operations in a fast-paced clinical environment
\n
• Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards
\n
• Skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, SharePoint and Power BI preferred
\n
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
\n
