Senior Events Coordinator -- Investment Firm (hybrid)

Our client, a prestigious global investment firm, is seeking a polished, proactive Senior Events Coordinator to join its growing Events & Experiences team in New York City. This individual will help coordinate and execute high-touch events and experiences for an impressive community of executives, investors, entrepreneurs, and other senior stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate and execute firm-wide events and experiences from initial planning through onsite execution

• Partner with internal stakeholders to establish event timelines, responsibilities, deliverables, and communications
\n
• Manage event registration and attendee tracking through event platforms and CRM systems
\n
• Coordinate all event logistics, including venues, catering, décor, entertainment, transportation, vendors, and budgets
\n
• Research venues and vendors and assist with vendor selection, relationships, contracts, and documentation
\n
• Prepare event decks, communications, and regular status updates
\n
• Track, reconcile, and report on event budgets and expenses
\n
• Conduct post-event reporting, including attendee feedback, success metrics, budget reconciliation, and key takeaways
\n
• Maintain event files, materials, and shared digital assets
\n
• Provide hands-on onsite support and troubleshoot logistical needs in real time
\n
• Stay current on event trends and identify creative ways to continually elevate the guest experience
\n

REQUIREMENTS

\n
• 3+ years of event planning/coordination experience within a fast-paced, high-touch environment
\n
• Experience or interest in technology, venture capital, financial services, or a similar professional environment is a plus
\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\n
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple events and priorities simultaneously
\n
• Polished, professional, resourceful, and solutions-oriented
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders, vendors, and attendees
\n
• Comfortable working occasional non-traditional hours around events
\n
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace; Salesforce experience strongly preferred
\n
• Canva, Illustrator, Photoshop, or other design experience is a plus
\n
• Interest in leveraging AI and new technology to improve workflows is a plus
\n

SALARY

$105K–$115K base + discretionary bonus + comprehensive benefits.

HOURS

Hybrid schedule (Mon-Thurs in office) based in the NYC office; flexibility for occasional evening or non-traditional hours around events.
