NCR Voyix is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, and serves customers in more than 35 countries worldwide.TITLE: Senior Quality EngineerLOCATION: Atlanta, GA - on siteQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science and 7 to 10 years of experience / knowledge in testing in an enterprise environmentStrong experience with Retail industry and testing POS applicationsSolid hands-on experience with Object-oriented programming (preferably JavaScript/Type Script)Experience in test automation of complex enterprise applications using PlayWright/Selenium etc.Hands-on expertise in developing BDD feature files, using Cucumber assists.Hands-on experience on API and Database testing and automationExperience of working "AGILE + DevOps" process management methodologyGood understanding of software architecture with the ability to provide recommendations and strategy for non-functional testing initiativesA real problem solver, ability to find opportunities for improvement and tackle them without external directionStrong personal accountability and ownership requiredShould have experience working with customer and stakeholders directlyResponsibilities:Understand the entire system end to end and involve in every step of software development process like designing, development, and testingLead the design, development, and implementation of tests and automated test frameworks and test suites.Define and implement test strategy for complex end-to-end systems that comprise the NCRV solutionsDefine and build test scenarios and acceptance testsDefine and develop test automation strategy and framework for testing multiple platforms like Web, Mobile and, Desktop by incorporating industry best practicesUnderstand the API contracts between cross-products, test and troubleshoot any issues with API definitions Implement Behavior Driven Development processesCreate and manage defects Apply engineering principals, data analysis best practice and process knowledge to conduct root cause analysis of functional and non-functional defectsProvide a detailed root cause analysis for a defect with log evidence to fix the problem and apply the fixAnalyze the issues using software or application monitoring toolsWork with DevOps to resolve any system level issuesMentor and guide junior test automation engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Manage and maintain the QA environments and plan improvements and support in the planning.Collaborate with solution engineers, hardware engineers, software engineers, network engineers and QA engineers.Work within the SAFe methodology to implement and / or refine solution integration and test best practicesRole includes 20% travel for customer engagements.Offers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the jobEEO StatementIntegrated into our shared values is NCR Voyix’s commitment to equal employment opportunity.
