About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 8:00 - 16:30 Experience: Minimum 1 year of Home Health experience required License: New Jersey or Compact nursing license required Certifications: BLS required Must-Have: Home Health experience Home Care Home Base experience required Drivers license required Description: The role involves visiting patients in their homes to provide nursing care. Registered Nurses will perform clinical assessments and documentation. You will coordinate services with other healthcare providers and support staff. The position requires the management of medications and patient education. You will be responsible for wound care, vital signs monitoring, and pain management. Experience working with adult and geriatric populations is essential. Candidates must be able to navigate efficiently to complete assigned visits. Ability to manage time effectively is crucial to avoid extended hours. You will be expected to perform tracheostomy care and urinary catheter management. Participation in weekend shifts is required. All candidates must provide proof of completed COVID-19 vaccination series and current booster. Flu vaccine and current booster is also required. This position requires strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient care. You will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes. Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to document and chart effectively.
