We are looking for a motivated HVAC Estimating Specialist with a strong background in mechanical construction estimating. Join a reputable contractor with over 20 years of experience in delivering top-notch HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical services across various sectors including commercial, healthcare, industrial, hospitality, and institutional clients. Key Responsibilities Conduct quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial HVAC and mechanical projects. Analyze plans and specifications for ductwork, piping, equipment, and controls. Create comprehensive bid packages for new construction and renovation contracts ranging from $100K to $4M+. Solicit and assess pricing from subcontractors and vendors. Spot value‑engineering opportunities while maintaining profit margins. Collaborate with management to refine pricing strategies and analyze historical data. Qualifications 3-5+ years of experience in commercial HVAC estimating. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical specifications. Familiarity with HVAC equipment, chillers, rooftop units, pumps, and piping systems. Excellent analytical skills, organized documentation, and proficiency in estimating software. A coachable, detail-oriented, and team-focused approach.
