Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Communications in Manassas, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional at a residential location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. You will help maintain orderly access and respond professionally to evolving situations while representing our agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies, documenting observations and maintaining accurate activity reports.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
