Reports to the Corporate Controller, leads a small accounting team, and works closely with site leadership on day-to-day financial operations. This is a priority hire. The company is looking for someone who can step in and take ownership of the books quickly.ResponsibilitiesOwn the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement preparationManage accounting for long-term contracts, including forecasting and revenue recognition under US GAAPOversee cost accounting, inventory valuation, and variance analysisManage AP and AR functions and drive process improvement across the finance teamLead and develop a small accounting teamSupport budgeting, forecasting, and audit readinessAct as a trusted financial partner to site and operations leadership xhyhwjd RequirementsCPA strongly preferred, CMA consideredFive or more years of progressive accounting experience inside an operating business, not solely public accountingExperience with long-term contract or project-based accounting a plusComfortable making day-to-day decisions independently and personally preparing general ledger entries
