Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse - $1,477 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/29/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Schedule Nights: 18:30 - 06:30 Job Description The Registered Nurse will hold shift accountability for providing care during the antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care to Labor and Delivery patients. This role will utilize the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures. The nurse will demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintain clinical competencies through continuing education; delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care for Labor and Delivery patients. Utilize critical thinking skills to anticipate and plan for safe delivery of care. Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education. Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience. Supervise and direct assigned personnel in the delivery of patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have a current TX or compact state RN license. Must have current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications. All travel submissions must have at least 2 years of experience along with prior travel experience. No locals will be accepted.
