The Customer Service Representative at HomeTeam Pest Defense plays a key role in delivering exceptional service aligned with company standards. Working as part of a small team, this role involves handling customer inquiries via phone, email, and text, addressing service questions, billing concerns, and complaint resolution. Representatives contribute to maintaining strong customer relationships while having access to robust training programs and growth opportunities within the customer service department.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service consistent with company standards and metrics
• Offer information to prospective customers and initiate new service accounts
• Maintain positive customer relationships through effective communication
• Track and follow up on customer inquiries and complaints to resolution
• Escalate appropriate issues to management as needed
• Support account setup and data entry accurately
• Utilize multiple communication channels including phone, email, in-person, and text

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Six to twelve months related experience or equivalent education and experience preferred
• Effective customer service techniques
• Intermediate computer skills
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Ability to calm and diffuse challenging customer situations
• Capability to escalate issues appropriately
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening

• Entry-level experience in customer service
• Conflict resolution skills
• Strong communication and active listening abilities
• Experience with problem escalation and data entry
