We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized Dispatcher to coordinate hauls, take orders from customers, and support our Dispatch Manager. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of concrete from one of our 11 area plants to the jobsite of one of our valued customers. Responsibilities Work in a fast-paced environment Coordinate and schedule loads for both account and non-account customers Communicate effectively with customers, plant managers, and drivers Record and retain critical information from customers about pour logistics Support the Dispatch Manager, fellow dispatchers, Operations and Sales Team Report and communicate safety issues to proper personnel Flexible availability required, including early morning shifts (1-2 AM start times) and occasional weekends Qualifications High School Diploma required Bilingual strongly preferred Proficient with basic computer skills and ability to learn new software applications Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task Ability to work independently and as part of a team Prior experience in concrete and the logistics industry preferred What Alamo offers you Stability: Join a well-established company with over 100 years in the industry 401(k) Retirement Plan: Includes company match to help you save for your future PTO: paid vacation and holidays Life Insurance: Company-paid life insurance and optional coverage Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Construction #J-18808-Ljbffr
