Job Title

Staff Accountant

• Assist with audits, reviews, compilations, and other accounting engagements.

• Prepare audit workpapers and perform financial statement account testing.

• Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting documentation.

• Prepare individual and business tax returns.

• Support bookkeeping, payroll, and client accounting services.

• Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and maintain general ledgers.

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Analyze financial data and identify account variances.

• Perform accounting research and assist with special projects.

• Communicate with clients to gather information and resolve inquiries.

• Maintain accurate, organized, and well-documented financial records.

• Collaborate with team members to deliver accurate and timely accounting services.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or expected completion of an Accounting degree.

• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Knowledge of accounting and tax principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.

• Professional, dependable, and able to work effectively in a team environment.

• Ability to interact professionally with clients.

• CPA eligibility or plans to pursue CPA licensure preferred but not required.

• Hands-on experience across audit, tax, and accounting functions.

• Exposure to a variety of industries and accounting engagements.
