General Production Worker Join our manufacturing team as a General Production Worker where you will be responsible for performing a variety of production tasks, including machine operating and working with extrusion machines. Responsibilities Operate and maintain extrusion machines in a manufacturing environment. Perform assembly tasks and general labor duties. Utilize forklifts for loading and unloading materials. Conduct machine operation and troubleshooting. Use hand tools and tape measures for precise measurements. Engage in packaging and packing tasks. Interpret and work with blueprints and mechanical instructions. Demonstrate mechanical aptitude in daily operations. Essential Skills Experience in production and general labor tasks. Ability to operate machinery and hand tools efficiently. Proficiency in reading blueprints and performing troubleshooting. Mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operation. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with extrusion machines. Skillful use of power tools and forklifts. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a manufacturing setting with 12-hour shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, alternating every two weeks from 7 AM to 7 PM. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blythewood, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
