Home Health: The Occupational Therapist provides therapeutic services in accordance with physician's orders to patients having upper extremity impairment, deficits in ADL ability, diseases or disorders requiring energy conservation and diseases or disorders requiring re-education of swallowing mechanism. With consideration to age, employee utilizes the approved process to resolve biophysical, psychological, educational, and environmental needs of patient/significant others when administering care. Competent to evaluate and treat a variety of diagnoses for patients who may be infants, children, adults or older adults. Home Health: Cognizant of home health standards and practices, including, but not limited to assessments specific to discipline and documentation requirements. Basic computer knowledge and abilities Required Experience Occupational Therapy: Required: Registered or eligible for registration by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapists (NBCOT) and the California Board of Occupational Therapy. Must maintain a current California occupational therapist license. Preferred: Basic Windows and mouse skills preferred. Basic splinting skills preferred.
